Bevan Smith Joins Wamiri's Advisory Board as Strategic Advisor

Wamiri is pleased to announce that Bevan Smith has joined our Advisory Board as Strategic Advisor.

Bevan will advise us on regulatory and compliance strategy, data infrastructure as we scale, and go-to-market with banks and enterprises, across African markets and globally.

Bevan has a wealth of experience in risk, compliance, and payments. As a former Vice President of Operational and Compliance Risk Management at Visa, including Head of Risk for Visa Sub-Saharan Africa across 45+ countries, and through senior roles at Barclays Africa, Investec, and Accenture, he brings that operating experience into the room with us.

He is also currently founder and CEO of Quasar Intelligence, building AI-driven diagnostic infrastructure for healthcare.

His counsel will help strengthen how we handle regulatory strategy, data residency, and how we show up to our customers.
